‘I am silver and exact’ The words of British poet Sylia Plath express the essence of the qualities of polished steel which will form the focus of a curated selection to be shown during LDF at David Gill Gallery.
Centred on six key works by Mattia Bonetti. Fredrikson Stallard, Daniel Libeskind and Zaha Hadid, the exacting line and reflective potential of this medium finds different expressions, whether architecturally rigorous, or fluid. Whilst all pieces are bold in form, their reflective quality absorbs their environment creating unexpected perspectives of space, and challenging traditional notions of furniture and its place in domestic environments.
