In conversation with Theo Blackwell (GLA) | In Partnership with Greater London Authority

Come join us for the launch of ChallengeLDN, the Mayor’s Open Innovation Programme. We bring ambitious innovators together with local authorities and communities to co-design, test and scale solutions to London’s most pressing challenges. Since 2018 the Mayor has been running Open Innovation Programmes, responding to key priorities such as climate change, community resilience, crime and affordable housing. This has resulted in 20 challenge programmes which have leveraged £2 million in funding to prototype, test, and scale ideas. This years’ challenge is essential, focussing on tackling the cost-of-living crisis. We will identify high potential innovators and support them to scale solutions for those most at risk of falling into poverty. Launching this years’ Open Innovation Programme is Theo Blackwell, London’s first Chief Digital Officer. He, along with other key speakers, will highlight the urgency of addressing this pivotal challenge and the potential for new solutions it can create.
